  • for mojitos 1 to 1? or i need help tomorrow i have a party

  • You didn't want to maybe boil it?? HAHA

  • couldn't have been made simpler.

  • 1:1 will be the best because the syrup will be more concentrated, so you can use less fluid to sweeten a drink to the same extent as a less concentrated syrup. This is important because in a high quality drink you want to limit the amount of water so you don't dilute the flavours that you're trying to achieve.

  • yeah, 4 parts sugar to 1 part water.......just make sure your not a diabetic

  • it just means whatever the amount that you're using is. in this case, he says it's 4 parts sugar to 1 part water, meaning 8 ounces of sugar, or one cup, to 2 ounces of water. which is incorrect by the way, it's 2 parts sugar to one part water

  • exactlyn how much is a part

  • well... you could do that, but it's really a 50/50 mix....

  • No no....for cold drinks the ratio is 2:1.

    For candy it's 1:1

Take 2 parts sugar and one part water, put in sauce pan and heat on medium/high heat until dissloved. Then bring to a boil and let cool to room temp. Done! This stuff will be good for up to 3 months!

    Cheers!

  • its 1:1
