I am not republican so I do believe in science. If 2000 climate scientists say global warming is happening and man made. That it is very "bad" for all species on earth. But 1-2 wing-nut seudo-scientists say it is cyclic and maybe good. Who are you going to believe? I believe that history will condem the republican party for allowing global-warming to go unchecked.

@Merany1 Idiot, there was global cooling due to aerosols. the temperatures dipped from 1940 to 1970 or so.

What Schneider actually did was research. He didn't make any predictions, he simply followed the science. As the science developed, so did his understanding of it. Why do you leave all this out, particularly the part where he said there could be significant cooling *if* pollution increased 400%?

Disappointing! I was hoping he would talk about the science of global warming.

For those looking for videos were they talk about the science of global warming I recommend "THE GREAT GLOBAL WARMING SWINDLE" usually it will be divided into 8 or more parts & "Climate Change - Is CO2 the cause?" 4 parts.

To find them just do a youtube search to find them.

I think you either misundertood what he said before or you're intentionally distorting it, so why don't you post the video - if it exists - so that we can hear what he actually said?

In responce to Merany1 comment, check out "Global Dimming" videos on YouTube or on Nova. That theory was formulated in the 1970s and confirmed in the last couple of years.

This guy was writimg about "Global Cooling" in his first book back in the 1970´s claiming that the evidence was undeniable that we were heading towards a new ice-age.

Here he is saying that he was already holding meetings about Global Warming in 1979 the same decade he was on the ice-age band-wagon.

Not only that but in an interview in 1990 he claimed that he was never in agreement about global cooling but the interviewer opened up his book from the 70´s and shows him what he wrote.
