Thank You Don Majkowski for coining that famous phrase......
"After Further Review.....THE BEARS STILL SUCK !"

WOW. What a great vid and posting! That packers bears game in 1989 was an all time classic due to the Bears domination of the Packers at that time. Majkowski was a special player, too bad injuries shortened his career but many will never forget him.

He may have been a HOF'er if he hadn't got hurt. In a Bear loss- he got sacked twice...but avoided perhaps 20 sacks...the man was awesome in the pocket, out of the pocket, and that quick release is what QB's dream of now. The injury was heart and talent breaking. Thanks #7 and thanks for posting

I was born in 84 and I can remember watching some Majik Man games with my dad when I was a little kid. I've been a spoiled Packer fan watching some great QBs.

whats the name of the song in the background in the beginning of the video

@7thlutz The Packer turnaround began when Parins stepped down and Harlan took over. Harlan made many changes which changed the organization enough for Wolf to take the job the second time (he was offered the job before Braatz but turned it down). But Wolf took the job the second time and the rest is history. Nearly two decades of good to great football, between the early 90's era where the Packers were a QB "puppy mill" for the NFL and a headcoaching "puppy mill" and the modern era. Thanks Bob..

Easily the best QB the Packers had between Dickey and Favre. Injuries were what really curtailed his career as already mentioned. I don't think most Packers fan who followed the team during that '89 season will forget him though. I was 9 when he had that great year and it was really the first I remembered enjoying as a young fan. I even remember cheering for the Bengals to beat the Vikings on MNF the final week of the season, but it was not to be unfortunately. Glad he's in the Packers HoF!
My first favourite QB.
I spent hours trying to copy the move with the ball at 0:27 seconds. LOL
My fantasy team pays reference to him even after all these years.

Jumbo Elliott or Dermontti Dawson might have prevented the Tony Mandarich screw up. Drafting one of those two lineman would have made the offensive line not as much as a problem. Barry Sanders would have fixed the running game and might have helped the 1989 Pack into Playoffs.
Sanders would have prevented Don's injury in 1990. The Packers leading rusher in 1990 was Micheal Haddix and that didn't help Don out. Haddix is worst RB ever that drafted in the 1st round that people forgot about.
