An experiment using different video capture and editing software. My method of old was to record gameplay onto a VHS cassette tape, then capture that gameplay footage via VCR.
This video I captured live directly from my Wii to my computer as I was playing the game. The result is a substantially better video quality than I got from the VHS tape. It's still not at the quality level I was hoping for, but it is a step in the right direction.
The trouble with the live capture is that the capture preview screen is quite small, maybe 20% of a full tv screen, and it's difficlut to see small things like item icons and text, which is no big deal offline, but would hamper communication if I were to play online. This particular program (Power Director) is still very new to me and hopefully it has a full-screen preview option that I haven't found yet.
When I made the capture, I mistakenly changed the sound capture option which is why there is no sound. I was intent on tracking in some music but I forgot. I may use some Youtube-provided music for the video.
There will be more video quality experiments to come, as I've yet to try live capture on my older program (Pinnacle).
Here I am battling a rathian during a Moga woods run. I was testing not only the video quality, but also how well I could cope with playing on a screen about double the size of a PSP screen.
Well ... you did quite good imho (^^) Too bad we haven t seen you kill that Rathian :(

@Nohidaroh I haven't seen you playing lately. Everything ok? And rest assured, rathian did die during the making of this.
