Holy gain stage Batman. Whoever set up the gear shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a PA system. Sounds like a waterfall during a rain storm. I would like to meet the person who said "this is how we want to present ourselves". Re-produce this and it may be fair. Great premise though.

funny that you're doing a review on a microphone and you have almost a white noise during the clip..

I have used the audio I5 for the snare in a live setting and sounds great! I never thought of using in on guitars but you just pretty much sold it on my for buying those for micing up guitars!

@justinsokoloski Ive also notice less experienced sound techs like the audix sennheiser and AT mics with the sound characteristics bc thats less processing and talent they need but it usually means that their rig is harsh also lol

every mic(at least in my experience) depends on the player, the room, the gear used, the pa, the ears, the style, and about 10million other factors come into play. but i will say i use the sm57 because out of all the audix, akg, sennheiser, and audio-trashnica mics ive use the sure 57 never ever ever ever adds its own sound it only pics up the true even clean sounds being put into it other brands tend to have a sound characteristic that they add either highs mids or lows sometimes all

@stexnookie and we all know its all for the ladies haha

It sounds like the camera mic is on!!

You need to clean the shit from your ears my friend... The SM57 is clearly a superior mic.

@agatg92 The 'mic' is out of tune? What in the world of fuck are you talking about...

@JuanDiazElYoyo2010 I use the i5 on allot of my lead guitar amps. I play hard rock, and the i5 gives me that "in the face" sound.
shorter and fatter, that's what the ladies like...

Ahhhhh, so it's all about the girth, not the length...
