Elizabeth Taylor & Richard Burton had a unique love /hate relationship in bygone days. Elizabeth Taylor had a home in the 'gringo gulch' district of Puerto Vallarta and Richard bought a home right across the street. The street was the divider, but not for long as they had a bridge built over the street between the two properties.
Narrow cobble stone streets carved into the hill side, balconies with colorful hanging flowers and spectacular views all around of the surrounding mountains and Banderas Bay. All of this is only a few minutes and 70 something steps from the shopping area of Puerto Vallarta.
Peter O'Toole also moved into this neighbourhood.

  • The streets are narrow, but beautiful...I love the colour (colourful walls), character and beauty of Puerto Vallarta.

  • so very beautiful..a wonderful getaway..though by the looks of this paradise, i could stay there forever :)
