Sorry...don't see how this is funny.
You know nothing about NG. My husband served proudly in the NG and is currently AD.
He did the same training as your husband.
There is no rivalry between AD and NG, except in stupid people's heads. Let's hope your husband never has to serve under a 'Weekend Warrior' sense it is obvious neither of you have respect for what they do.
Grow up and find something else to rag on.

@ArabsStank where the hell do you think the ARMY came from. National Guard is the oldest branch of the military..so maybe you so research you history and learn a little more about it before you run you cock sucker!

Getting deployed has nothing to do with anything. They have poor training and do not hold a military bearing. They just play dress up on weekends and pretend to be in the Army. Actual Army soldiers reject the nasty guard wannabes. The regular Army doesn't endorse the guard in anyway. The Guard has been riding the real Army's fucking coattail for centuries. This video is actually pretty freakin' accurate. Bunch of overweight pussies who were scared to make a real commitment is all the guard is.

@Johnswoman123 Guard. The "One weekend a month, two weeks a year" slogan has lost most of its relevance since the Iraq War, when nearly 28% of total US forces in Iraq and Afghanistan at the end of 2007 consisted of mobilized personnel of the National Guard and other Reserve components. Currently you are the joke. When you grow out of diapers & put down your video games I do wish you luck in becoming a real man.

@Johnswoman123 are directly descended from Massachusetts Bay Colony regiments formed over 375 years ago. Throughout the 19th century the regular Army was small, and the militia provided the majority of the troops during the Mexican-American War, the start of the American Civil War, and the Spanish-American War. With the Militia Act of 1903, part of the militia was federalized and renamed the National Guard and organized as a Reserve force for the Army; this is the official founding of the Nat'l

@Johnswoman123 By the way, you should take a History class little boy...National Guard are the original Militia in this Country. The claim that the National Guard is older than the nation itself, with over three and a half centuries of service, is based on the claim that the modern-day 101st Field Artillery Regiment, 182nd Infantry Regiment, 101st Engineer Battalion and 181st Infantry Regiment of the Massachusetts Army National Guard

@ArabsStank If you think for one minute that your uneducated, juvenile, ignorant comments bear any weight on how any of us feel...you have another thing coming. My NG Husband served 2 tours in Afg & Iraq, works full time as a Paramedic & Firefighter at home. The AD Army brothers he served with overseas didn't care if he was NG as long as he had their backs. When they are over there...the branch doesn't matter. Keeping ALL your Brothers safe is the important thing.

national guard is circulated through just like any other branch they are deployed too, they go through the same training, and take just as much risk when deployed as they do at home, army and national guard fight on the same two fronts. The commitment is the same when they get deployed do your research, they aren't weekend warriors anymore, they are soldiers, show some respect.
-
National Guard disgusts me. I embarrassed that they are even affiliated with the Army. Just a bunch of pussies who didn't want to make a REAL commitment. If they actually wanted to be real Soldiers they would have joined the reg Army......FACT!!!......Sorry, but your NG husbands are pussies who dress up on weekends and pretend to be in the Army.

@AetiusPraetorian You are correct. PFC-Drake 68 whiskey (medic) trainee.

Hooah. I had to reread your punctuation free comment three times to understand that you weren't bashing the guard though.
You did a great job and it sends chills down my spine...
