I was reminded of this clip while watching Bill Moyers interview William K. Black. They discussed Tim Geithner testifying before Congress that the Federal Reserve didn't have the necessary authority to regulate particular banks. This authority was repealed by the Glass-Steagall act, which the Federal Reserve supported!
