  • Great! That's all we need, the scum of Wall Street lending "credibility" to a business model that's already linked to pyramid schemes. And why does anyone think that a publicly traded network marketing company is a good thing? A public MLM company does not have it's first allegiance to its reps or distributors. It is pledged to its shareholders. Bad for the reps as there'll be less money in the pay plan!

  • @MentorTony One way of looking at it Tony. Lol. Thanks for your comment!

  • All corporations, businesses, governments, churches, military etc.. are made in form of a pyramid. It is a fundamental base. Don't confuse legal with illegal. I have many friends in the business of Network Marketing that make great money, good money and no money. This is not a reflection on the company but a reflection on how the person works. Many join thinking that this is the way to go but they are to lazy and don't carry the tools for business therefore, they fail.

  • Go MLM! I'm in YOR Health and so far MLM has given me skills that I never would have received from traditional W-2 jobs.

  • from the FTC. " it is best not to get involved in plans where the money you make is basedthe primarily on the number of distributors you recruit and your sales to them rather than on your sales 2 people outside the plan who intend to use the product

  • @geeksatlarge not necessarily. take limu for example, which is a pyramid scheme. "the boss" only makes a profit depending on what the people under him do; not what he does. people with normal jobs get paid on how hard THEY work not someone else.

  • @ mentortony sad to see you have such a problem with Network Marketing. I pay my taxes and love my job. You must have had a bad experience at one point in time. Good luck in your ventures.

  • @MentorTony You know nothing about our industry my friend...

  • I agree with that one Tony, I shudder when I hear of publicly traded MLMs, proud to be in one that isn't and is set up as a legacy trust (can never be taken public!)

  • Now we know why we're so proud that our MLM company isn't publically traded. hmm must mean their allegiance is to the reps and the customers!!

  • Pyramid schemes? You mean corporate America?

  • I am certainly an advocate for network marketing and believe that I have found the right company for me. I offer this caveat. I don't agree with all the quotes coming from "Celebrity" Business Leaders who have never successfully built their own NWM business but they have a lot to gain by selling their books and CDs to the millions of distributors out there world wide. Find the top distributor in your company and learn from them. After all they really did it. These people didn't
