  • Both independence and free cooperation between peoples are necessary. Utopian notions tend to dystopian ends. Realism seeks free cooperation proud and independent peoples who realize that none can go it utterly alone. But cooperation will never come about through the Stick or centralized Orders from any global oligarchy That only breeds more radical divisions; it can only come through the carrot of sharing, respecting and helping from our localized bounty, which is in everyone's interest.

  • This is one of the most important books of the past 100 years.
