  • ...I loved it. there were 1 and a half seconds i didn't agree with: your choice of interpretation for "Silence"

You all produce such a gorgeous sound.

  • This is Gaston Hall on Georgetown campus. It is a great venue for music. I would practice my flute there for hours because of the great acoustics. In 1981, while singing with the Georgetown chorus under the direction of Paul Hill, I sang and witnessed Margaret Thatcher receive her only honorary degree from a US institution. President Reagan was the presenter and I sang the British national anthem. I gained total respect for that very gifted lady on that day. Great Memories.

  • In both the solos, the lyrics got dropped into inaudibility and then rose to be almost harsh. I also intensely disliked the volume and harshness that entered into the interpretation at the "you can make decisions, too" point. It completely blew the sensitivity and pensiveness of this piece for me.

  • angels -- 1st 2 bars

  • FINALLY A CHOIRE THAT ACCTUALLY CAN SING THIS SONG!!!

  • Great guys. Really nice dynamics and tuning...

  • @loscadu yeah, i'd agree, but it is a really good voice at a potentially awkward age...

  • @djkrajnik so picky!! Lovely singing guys. Great song too. I'd agree, don't direct, though. Just all get solid and lock in on the tempo. You aren't a massive choir or anything....

  • absolutely outstanding. very good

  • I think the tuning here is pretty decent. I'm not sure I really like the interpretation, though, as in "but you can make decisions, too". The vowels are a bit spread, too. Also, the guy on the right directing the rhythm looks pretty tacky. You should really either direct the tempo or go without a director.

  • This is really solid. It's nice to hear a college a cappella group working hard on musicianship and singing music that can reach its full potential via this art form rather than doing mediocre, predictable covers of top 40 hits.

  • really good! the soloist was great
