Warsaw, Poland Trip - Dec 08 - Jan 09

I visited the wonderful and lively Warsaw for the second time in my life on December 30th 2008 - January 2nd 2009.

I stayed at the splendid InterContinental Hotel in the city in the brilliant 5 days I had in the capital of Poland. I visited the Old Town twice, saw the New Years concert, went Ice skating on New Years Day, discovered the Uprising Museum and many more.

Can't wait to visit once again! =]

I've been to Warsaw in both the Summer and Winter months.

I think winter Warsaw is more characteristic while summer Warsaw has more things going on in the city.

I'm not really a stranger... I have Polish

roots.

I've been to Warsaw in January, July, August and December. I'll take your advice and try to go again in a spring month, and an autumn month too.
