Driving into a rainbow in a thunderstorm a few miles west of Snyder, Oklahoma, November 7, 2011. This storm produced several tornadoes beginning near Tipton and ending near Ft. Cobb.
@scottso241 Nope, no gold, but not long after this was shot we saw several tornadoes so it was a good day. Yes, I'm a ham WX5USN and the repeater you heard is part of the SWIRA network which you can look up. It has terrific coverage of all of southwest Oklahoma which makes that my favorite part of the state for chasing. The particular repeater I was monitoring at the time is in Granite, OK on 146.715.
so did you find the pot of gold by the end of the rainbow .
also are you a ham ? i was hearing a repeater from time to time?
cool video
