Common vs Drake? Well you can't really compare them due to the mentality of the listener.
Let me explain: when I mindlessly want to listen to a music so that I relate to a teenage airhead with no thoughts in their heads, then I listen to drake.
If I want to listen to something that actually represents and articulates the feelings and culture of a particular man, and/or society, I listen to Common.
In other words: Drake is for those who wish to remain ignorant, Common is for those who don't.
