The ref shoulda just let the opponent pin him. The guy saw that he was hurt and went for the pin (out of respect), but for some reason instead of pinning him and ending the match, he halted it for another minute.. Usually when someone gets hurt seriously, they try to end the match asap by any means..

@Humanoidfreak In FMW is their code of wrestling, that they would never stop a match until they are dead so Hayabusa wasn't responding so he shakes his head, it made the injury far worse.

@flamingcheeseburger1 Because they're still in the ring, the performance is still on. At that time he had absolutely no way that his neck was broken. By kicking an injured man he stays in character and by applying chokes and holds he's able to get in close and check on him whilst hiding the problem from the fans. He did the right thing

I know it don't make it right as they were fighting they act the other wrestler didn't know how bad he was as he gets kicked no reaction so he wouldnt have felt the kick as he done the damage already by the landing

i used to see shows in Japan. on more than one occasion, i would see a wrestler get injured. saw one girl end her career when she missed a move and landed on her neck. made me really cringe. sad too because she was nice to me. seeing this makes me think about that.
