After moving to San Francisco, the middle-aged New Yorker, Harvey Milk, became a Gay Rights activist and city politician. On his third attempt, he was elected to San Francisco's Board of Supervisors in 1977, making him the first openly gay man to be elected to public office in the USA. The following year, both he and the city's mayor, George Moscone, were shot to death by former city supervisor, Dan White, who blamed his former colleagues for denying White's attempt to rescind his resignation from the board. --IMDB Distributed by Tubemogul.

  • ok am not gona watch this... no fucken way too gay for me it was highly rated i thought i should check it but i dnt think its a good idea to watch it

  • I know this is good movie, but it's too gay for me. :)

  • Cant watch this because it's about a gay guy.

  • One of my favorite movies. Harvey Milk was a very brave individual.

  • Thinking about what that man did in my favor, showing that LGBT people are just that, means more to me than anything. To know that a man runing for a public office, saying that I am a evil little smudge on his shoe pisses me off to no end.

  • I am a straight female who grew up in San Francisco in the 80's and 90's and I was only 2 years old when Harvey Milk and George Moscone were so violently taken from us. I don't remember a time when I didn't know their stories or when I was taught this history lesson. Even though it feels like this story was seared into my brain from birth, I was so happy to see it brought to the big screen in such an amazing way. Thank you to everyone involved with sharing this piece of San Francisco history wi

  • this is the greatest trailer i've ever seen

  • The movie looks great. But, the thing that annoys me about this video is how the reviewers are clearly scared to say anything negative about a "gay" movie. We see the same fear from critics who are scared to say anything bad about "black" political movies. They're not helping the cause of equality by pushing dogma like that.

  • The bigots are losing.

  • @theshures It's called the prostate, just FYI. And lol, that's the best.
