Urgh people, when you cut off the ''legs'' of an octopus, the legs keep spasm-ing on their own, which is why some people think it's dangerous to eat cause it MIGHT happen that as you swallow the leg, it stays stuck in your throat. *Only if you dunno how to chew properly.*

The problem with eating this kind of food is that in Asian cultures, VERY little seafood is farmed. It's all taken right out of the ocean with very little restriction. Quite simply, Asian countries over-fish the sea. Look it up. Comparing it to beef is ludicrous: cows are raised and farmed for slaughter.
