Cody Wise sings a tune by "The Jackson Five" on July 4th 2009 in Philadelphia

I was stunned by Cody Wise's voice when hearing him during the 4th of July celebration on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia. Sorry for the bad audio quality - I recorded with my Lumix TZ3 photo camera in video mode.. so this is not a bootleg, but just an early recording of a singer who certainly will become a star!

Here's what I found in the Internet about Cody Wise:

Cody, a Philadelphia native, has been performing and working as a dancer, singer, model and actor, beginning when he was only six weeks old. Cody starred as "Young Simba" in Disney on Broadway's "The Lion King" and has appeared in many theatre productions, most recently the New York City Center's production of "Damn Yankees." He has appeared on episodes of "Sesame Street" as well as in Kanye West's "Heard Em Say" music video. Cody has recorded songs with Elmo and can be heard on the "Tickle Hands Elmo" DVD later this summer.
