Personality Tests and INFP-ness

I'm new to youtube and was inspired to do this video after watching some of the interesting reflections on personality already posted by others. It's amazing how both our similarities and differences bring us together and make us each unique and irreplaceable (now... that's definitely the INFP in me talking;)

p.s. the part that got cut off (2:12) was supposed to say: "both ideals and the physical world exist" ...and are BOTH important... "so focusing too much on either one could be kinda negative"!

Reality is just a distraction as far as I'm concerned. I pay no attention to it until it slaps me hard enough to start getting on my nerves. Then I reluctantly take care of the real-world nonsense so I can escape back inside myself, where I clearly belong. INFP here btw. Very good video. :)

@Damienf77 Lol, I sometimes feel that way too:) Earlier today I was actually thinking about how ideas are amazing and I can spend hours just reading, watching social commentaries, and thinking about random ideas but I should always remember that ideas are important because of reality... because they reflect it, have the power to change it, and affect us all whether we notice or not! Perhaps those of us who love ideas have a special purpose to bring to light that which so many overlook=o)

@rosesofsunshine3 You're right of course about reality being important as well.  I just find it frustrating sometimes that, though we do have perhaps an uncommon ability to change things for the better... it is often like trying to turn lead into gold. It seems like it should be possible, but the distance from dreams to reality are often so far apart that I usually end up wishing for things to change rather than helping them along. I do love nothing more than seeing people inspired though. :)

@Damienf77 I admit that I can relate to having more good intentions than are put into action. My hope is that good intentions translate into action when opportunities to help come along... it's exciting when a chance does! i make videos hoping that this little bit of action could help someone..."ripple out", as you called it:) Thanks for your thoughtful comments on this video and my other one. I noticed you have a very creative and eloquent manner of writing which can be a very powerful pebble:)

@ramonfw Its true. Their eyes just have that spark of brightness and vivacity, I think, and they can dart to the side a lot. Very expressive.

@marcrib79 I'm an INFP and I usually giggle when a) I remember or imagine something awesome or b) My Ne makes a pattern or analogy out of nowhere just to brighten up my day :)

I definately day dream a lot and imagine up crazy ideas, my view on it though is that its merely thoughts which aren't as bound by logic as the INTPs are. It's imagined first with nothing to get in its way and is only subject to "logical analysis" (through crude Te) a lot later on. Tbh I would prefer being INTP

I love INFP's, they're very bubbly but subtle with it... I'm an INTP, so yes I see humor in pretty much anything and for some reason when I see INFP's I sort of get the implication that they giggle a lot much in the same way I chuckle at almost anything. Also the idealist thing is cool because INTP are known as the thinker and I get the feeling that INFP daydream a lot just as I think a lot

It kinda made a whole lot of sense as to who I was and who I am now. It kinda gives me a map to be who I can become as well... Uh-oh... I'm typing lots... xD That's one trait for an infp, eh?
