During the Saddleback Civil Forum, John McCain is asked to define what rich means, and after trying to punt on the question throws the number five million out there. I wonder just how much of the population of this country that is?

His "health insurance tax credit" for the "health insurance of your choice" wouldn't cover most people's health insurance costs. Not even close, in fact.

I know. I do billing in my career, dealing with insurance companies and patients for optical exams and corrective lenses. Insurance companies fuck you over, and they have NO sympathy for people with lower incomes or in dire circumstances.

It's really easy to talk about health care costs when you never have to worry about it, like McCain.

Middle class cant be decided on income alone. As he said a person may bring in $110,000 a year. But what liberals dont bring out is that this person may have three kids no spouse and is paying for one child to go to collage. After all of these expenses are paid thats a big chunk of change, it cant be decided on net pay alone.
