I had a Scorpion fitted with an aftermarket regulator and it made the same f*rting noise as yours. I got it checked by an expert and it turned out to be hammer bounce. The gun had not been set up for use with a regulator. The hammer was bouncing off the valve rod wasting air and making a silly noise. I paid an expert to have that done and it was then as quiet as a church mouse.
