Bill Cullen was the orginal host.
Cullen was in the running to be the host of the 1972 revival of The Price Is Right, for CBS. However, the physical demands of the new format were considered too strenuous for Cullen.

@STOPobama1 Yes, it was a rare event to honor the late Bill Cullen on a current show! It is nice to honor Bill Cullen on a modern network show - I don't even remember the last time Bill Cullen was acknowledged since his death in 1990.

'DANCING BEARS!' - very clever but creative! But it would be a good gimmick for a Halloween episode!
'VOWELS AND CONSONANTS GALORE!' - a clever reference to Wheel of Fortune at its finest.
'ASTONISHING MAGIC TRICKS!' - can be possible for a Showcase on any episode! Models becoming invisible thanks to modern technology would work.
