question. Which methods do you use to make faster hits with the sword? I'm not a martial artist just a medieval reanactor.

Train with heavy weapons, perform with light ones,

train with big movements, perform with smaller,

train your wrists for slapping techniques,

use your body (biomechanics) for the movements.

This is just a crash course... :-)))

whats this? miao dao? some look like jap techinques but more open minded. some look like the effective german longsword techiques.

@krullboll Why train in European MA when we have eastern? It's just a matter of preference, really. I've studied karate and now I'm learning WMA, and I enjoy them both.
