All i can say is you guys have an hell of a team. I liked how the vent crews performed and even more how they spotted each other on the roof (and off the ladder)..

Vent with no ladder is grounds for some one getting killed or maimed. Been on a roof once myself and the roof failed only thing keep me out of the fire was a roof ladder.

Nice job on the roof vent. We vent the heck out of just about every structure fire we respond to. A roof and some ceiling sheet rock is pretty cheap to repair.

ever heard of positive pressure ventilation?? no need to cut a hole in the roof. wasted time and effort. keep a hoseline in, and fire up the fans, use additional hydraulic smoke ejection. tearing up a house for the looks and fun of it......................
