Hello Tania I like crochet too I am not sure of the symbol you are looking for but it looks to me as if it is a double crochet that its done in a chain, I realize this is a quite old question but just came across your video today... I do speak Spanish as well as English so what ever suits you better I could try to help:)

You English is very good. Since your pattern is in a published book, there should be a symbol key in the beginning or end of the book. What is the name of the magazine that your instructions are coming from?

The name of the magazine is:Crochet Créations Nº46, and it is in French.
I have look for the symbol key there are some you are right, but not of this one,....

I can show you symbols that we use in America. I do know that European symbols are different so that might now help you.
