I was fortunate to meet monica and do a workshop with her on this subject; it is difficult to argue against the fact that the 'positive thinking' movement demonises

anything and everything 'negative' and live in a coulorfull version of the polarized abrahamic god gibberers..ultimately, poositive thinking argues that war is positive, being dynamic, expansive and victorious, and peace, being by its very nature passive is negative and evil.

@niallobinghe If I had a pund for everytime I have mentioned Monica's name to people I would have quite a bit of money! She has been a great inspiration for me. Yes they dont understand that phonetic learnt words can become a life unto themself so you say---'positive' and you assume it is and can be independent of 'negative--another word. Not feeling the reality that what 'they' are is a dynamic wholistic process that ultimately cannot be cut up, and it TRYING to which causes much of the crap

That passage you read is an inaccurate and deceptive interpretation of the New Age Movement. (I don't agree with all New Age thought.)

What is essentially true:

This is the 21st century. The Old Myths of the three Abrahamic religions do not function in the modern world.

We need NEW MYTHS = New Models and Metaphors.

People who are afraid of this change, and don't understand it, think it's the Illuminati Reptilian NWO taking over.

Actually the book I read it from, author Monica Sjoo is FAR more in the know about the New Age and its duplicity than you appear to be, for what I have heard from you. All you really say is: 'no it isn't'...

He's trying to say Myths and Religion are role-models. Old role models don't fit new society. That is not denial my friend.

I think it depends on what old role model you mean.

Take blood sacrifice. that is VERY old one, and BOTh Goddess and God religion is supposed to have practised it, plus some polytheism, like eg., Mayan culture etc

Now, I sense that that was a mis-take , and that ORIGINAL role model was entheogenic ecstatic flowing release group emotion

I see what you mean. I suppose the idea is that the human species is attempting to realize its spiritual nature. Nature itself is of course already sacred. One could argue that prior to our patriarchal culture, humans were already spiritual, but I think there were some rather barbaric practices associated even with Goddess worshipping peoples of the past. I think there is a developmental process taking place in the human species as we move from ethnocentric religion to planetary spirituality.

@0ThouArtThat0 - in that the ecosystem is integrated into the outer cosmos, eg as biodynamics shows - plant growth & flower shapes & planetary orbits are feedback systems that reflect one another. So a 5-petal flower is on a plant more in tune with Venus, which has a pentagram-shaped orbit as seen from Earth.

Every time that is reset - cut back etc - the plants have to start counting again all over, in order to regain their attunement. Every little disturbance is harming what this planet is.

@0ThouArtThat0 - & to be even clearer, when I'm saying about systems here being out of harmony with nature - I can't see how anyone can honestly claim what some new agers do - that plants and animals etc willingly allow themselves to be abused so that people can learn not to abuse them.

It's obvious that they do not enjoy being factory farmed or kept in captivity or cut-back or constantly interefered with - it's like resetting a computer constantly so it has to start processing all over again.

@0ThouArtThat0 - to be clear, what I mean by quoting another commenter on 'negativity' is that I have observed people putting themselves into the positions of teachers in a new agey way - but there is nothing 'new' about them, as they fail as much as existing systems to fit the important truths into their philosophies, and try to fob them off with crap like "the aliens / angels say it's that way" or "it's just your opinion and you need to change how you see it" and other mind-control rubbish.

is at least hinting at something that tends to be ignored - not only why should there be any out of harmony with nature, but why is the purpose of the development so hidden & hands-off - ie how did it get that way?

Why make a species that develop blindly with no obvious help

I think the noosphere can't exist if it isn't an authentic interconnection, and creative unity with all beings. A dynamic, living ecosystem of minds. This can't exist in the terror, all-controlling state conspiracies that claim to be underway. I have more hope for humanity than that... Tho it is important we heed warnings, it's most important to see the light AND the darkness in all things as one dynamic process.
