Every single one of you bitches complaining out "sell out" bands like Metallica and Megadeth, and now apparently In Flames... I don't see how anybody can say that In Flames sold out. When have you ever heard an In Flames song on a radio station more than once every blue moon? You don't, because they aren't mainstream. They have a huge following because they have progressed to being more than a basement band. Deal with it.

No, Megadeth can't, their sound dropped on Endgame and crashed on 13, Mustaine said himself Marty Friedman was the reason they adopted a more pop sound and once Youthanasia was done, they never went back to the way they were.

@Waxxumus "Selling out" is when you sell out all your beliefs and start singing about subjects that are meaningless to you. I wouldn't say they sold out, I'd say they adopted a more mainstream sound. Which, that's their choice. I hated ASOP, but I loved SOAPF. They're nobody's puppets-they're musicians.

@CynicalBrony I still never understood why they took the Progressive part of "Progressive Metal" too far. They had excellent sound and decided to stray from it. Though Id imagine it is hard to sustain the exact same sound. Megadeth can pull it off, and even bands like opeth still pull from their root albums. We need more bands like this, but we need them to stop selling out and losing touch with their true nature and sound.

@Waxxumus Agree. Come Clarity had everything a classic In Flames fan would want, yet it's still universally considered the worst album by the band.
