Hugo Montenegro - The Vice Of Killing - Ennio Morricone - Quentin Tarantino

Quentin Tarantino is here because he's responsible for introducing a new generation to Ennio Morricone's great scores of the '60s. He hasn't used THIS piece yet (the original, not Montenegro's cover) but it's second only to "Ecstasy Of Gold" as Morricone's best in my mind. I was happy to hear "Battle Of Algiers" and "The Big Gundown" tracks in "Inglourious Basterds". (Thanks, QT!) And, yes, this was recorded off an old LP.

Tarantino hasn't done a spaghetti western yet I don't think, but that film about the escaped slave sounds good. He needs to tackle spaghetti westerns in the 60s style though.
