  • classic example of car manufacturers down playing their Power ratings on there cars to keep the feds off!! I know the new camaros are downgraded by about 20 or so hp saw one do a dyno stock and had way more power than what gm claimed haha

  • @SuRihtanil Depends on the year models and hell even the temperature outside, Theyres several variables but the 96 ws6 had 305 bhp. so its very realistic

  • @gixxerfanatic thats actually about accurate, In 96 the ws6 went up to 305 horsepower at the flywheel, With a good 6 speed or even possibly a auto it could be 275 with a cold air intake, Plus the hood is open!! haha, but nah id say this is definantly accurate

  • @Ray209 Completely stock? My 97 T/A with the stock muffler was a hell of a lot quieter than that. But then, I consider a car with just aftermarket exhaust still stock. Now she's got a flowmaster 40 and deleted the cats on her and she sounds sooo good :) That's some damn good dyno numbers for a stock LT1 though.

  • Damn did GM under rate the Trans Am's? I have seen LT1 Camaro's dyno around 230-240rwhp but this T/A dyno is HIGH for stock.

  • my 96 TA pushed 268rwhp, and 383 torque
