  • Great tutorials and a thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and experience and taking the time to do these videos. Just to clarify, I can have a CAS Array and DAG with only two exchange servers correct? Four servers would be a bit overkill for our environment Im just wondering if there would be any considerations in this respect.

  • @xtremenetworkx

Correct, you don't need to have 4 servers. You can get away with using just these 2 from the DAG. You don't really need a NLB to create a CAS Array. ANd intact, this might be the quickest and simplest way to do this. The more you introduce into your environment, the messier and confusing it gets.

  • you dont set anonymous on default recieve connector. Also unless you have hundreds of users 2 exchange boxes is a waste of money one server with all roles is sufficient for most small buisnesses. Just an FYI you can use a wildcard cert for exchange, have to change some settings using ems but very simple if you wanna save some money. I don't like UNC certs as publishing my internal domain and cname of my servers is a security issue. But very well done vid!
