One of the little ironies of this trip was that, as Gish was making this explanation, there was a group of creationists who were walking by through the same side canyon (I think that's one of them @ 5:21). One of them went so far as to go up to Ron (one of the members of our group), and open up Ron's life jacket to read what was on his t-shirt. Ron was wearing his "4 Billion or 4 Thousand: You decide with NCSE" trip t-shirt., and it seemed like the creationist didn't especially care for that.
