  • Well, it was my original image that I took in Cambodia and I did put it together the way that I wanted it to look, and it wasn't really done to impress anyone, so I'm not embarrassed at all. And while I'm at it, what do you have against my fake Omega? By the way, I didn't notice a link to your images so that I could marvel at at the work of a true creative genius such as yourself.

  • Awesome stuff, Photography is art anyway you cut it. Photography should be

considered art, and anything dose go!!! Great job and thanks for taking the time

to do this video. As for the na sayers, get with the program and accept photography

can be an art form! Once again, loved the vid!!!!!!!

  • @altiris First off, to each their own, but if you're going to "create new realities," then the product of such a process is by definition not reality. You can argue that all photography is simply an exercise in deviating from reality, but I'd (personally) draw a line at creating an image representing something that didn't exist in the first place.

Though, this all assumes you want to still call it a photograph. If we're simply calling it graphic art, then anything goes.

  • @yeknom02 what's wrong in creating new realities?!

  • Not convincing I'm afraid.

  • @5:18 - "I'm using Photoshop, so I can put a big sun behind there."

Good tutorial for some basic Photoshop skills, but this quote represents precisely what's wrong with today's digital imaging mindset.

  • :D awesome

  • yes. the only thing really happening is using blending modes.

  • Love the video and your site. I'm just starting out on photography and learning about post processing so it really means a lot when someone who already knows, takes the effort create a tutorial, simply to share their knowledge. keep up the great work :)

  • Great vid! I love watching how people create their art in PS.
