@2003LincolnLS Unfortunately, burning oil and blowing head gaskets was part of the failed design of the Northstar engine. I can't help but think there must be a reason why the teksid 4-valve has withstood both of these scenarios much better than its Cadillac counterparts did and you just don't hear about situations like this very often at all with the teksid block. My mechanic friend saw 3 Caddis in one year come through his shop, all with bad headgaskets and leaking oil. Sure looks bad.

@2003LincolnLS I havent made a decision yet. I wanted to try Cadillac again, but not sure. If i try Northstar again, I will certainly have a warranty... Town Cars are cool, I just dont like the appearance.
