When halo was first made it was suppose to be an rts for the mac. This is the video of the very first time halo was ever shown to the public by jason jones, and before they (Bungie) worked for Microsoft.

Half of me is upset that MS took this away from Apple, but the other half of me is glad it went the route it did because I don't think halo could have gotten the attention is got being released on the Apples back then.

This is actually the 3rd person trailer. There was never a trailer for the RTS alpha version.

This is the very first time :) I wonder if the new reach game will be this? Reach would allow them to implement some of this through it would not be on a halo through...
