some people might say feeding them is wrong, but you know what, them getting a nice meal like this is them not feeling the need to go through alot of garbage and make the neighborhood a mess. its good though that if you decide to do that charity, that you dont feed a bunch of freeloaders who caught on. raccoons are dangerous, i would NOT wanna get close. i know this because i worked at a wild life medical clinic.

@Pimpmastahanhduece Thank you for the commit. They know the rule, no closer then five feet. I DO NOT attempt to make them pets or try to pet them. They are wild animals. This was the only summer that we had this many for a short time after a drought. Their natural food was low and yes it kept them out of the neighborhood garbage cans and eating the local cats. They know my two cats and never have had a problem with them. These are all females with their young.

@Pimpmastahanhduece Last summer we had a first yr mother den in our thick hedges. My cats would sit at the entrance and watch the little ones and at times you could hear them nursing. We had one day of 107 degrees and her nipples were so red from the heat and nursing that she came out and laid down in a large pot dish that I kept water in for them to drink from. I put the hose on a fine mist and she went over and looked like she was taking a shower! LOL
