Video guide to the custom Doom 3 multiplayer map/techdemo After the War, created by Mordenkainen. According to the author, this map was inspired by the 1989 side scrolling post-apocalyptic video game of the same name.
As opposed to the dark and cramped environment that we all learned to love in Doom 3, this map is set outdoors in a open, bright environment. After the War also came with other effects not found in Doom 3, such as bloom and water effects. I toggle bloom effects on and off through the course of the video because sometimes, the bloom effect can become way too bright and white out the screen (as seen at 4:11).

@misaelfaust86 What's the problem? So what? Do you create maps yourself of any kind? If so, let's see it! Think you can come up with something better and original...put it up, or shut up! Do you have any idea how long it takes to create a map like this, or the effort that goes into it? I do. This is a great map. Love the lighting technique that was created here. Go play Crysis or something...better yet, see if you can create a Crysis map.

@misaelfaust86: the darkness is reduced to the pretty much the variant of the ID tech 4 engine used in COD 3 onwards, Quantum of Solace and Goldeneye Wii. All he needs to do is polish it a little more and IW, Treyarch, ID and Bethesda might hire out good friend here!
