The 70's era saw a polarization of ideologies in the African-American community, as the idea of nationalistic self-determination battled the formation of a new, integration identity. This further exposed what W.E.B Du Bois coined "The Souls of Black Folk." Rest In Peace to the Great Social Comic Richard Pryor.
