Another scene from BBC's Sherlock Holmes series of 1968 which stayed very true to Doyle's Seasonal short story The Blue Carbuncle and gave both Peter Cushing as Holmes and Nigel Stock as Watson (here less close to the Nigel Bruce mould) the chance to shine. Also, it is the best adaptation of this story, so go buy the DVD ...
