They are dressed in Revolutionary War uniforms and playing Battle Cry of Freedom which is a Civil War song. They didn't have many good songs in the Revolution.

Thank you Joe62x for the great Towpath videos. This group wasn't even on my radar until this year. Except for Ancient Mariners last year (their 50th anniv) I belief this is the largest group in the U.S.
Come on, Towpath, DRAM next year. Or Westbrook this year!

Towpath is the name of the group. They're from a small canal town in NY called Macedon.

you can hear the leader call out "Rally 'round the Flag" so if nothing else, it's what these guys call it
