In this episode I play a slower dance also by Bach. It is called a Sarabande. You can try to imagine someone dancing to it if you like.

Please keep the feedback and comments coming. I am working on the look of things, like the backdrop. I will try to make an episode by Saturday morning of each week.

  • Beautiful sound and intonation. I wonder what the dance sarabande was like to move so slowly?

  • Thanks. I know what you mean. I do wish there were more videos of people dancing these.

  • Mistilav Rostopovich...youve done very well...I havent learned to play yet, only guitar...but you are beautiful...please dont ever ever stop...peace love and music brother..you could easily be compared to him...but bach had the tears in him, in his eyes..the pain in his fingers and hands as he read it out loud on that wood...that string..nice man..very nice...please keep going...dont let the dust settle on that.....

  • ayyyyyyyyyyyy, solo quiero seguir tomando mi vino. si quiero imaginar danza en las suites de bach escucho a anner bylsma....salud!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The cello suites aren't really dances. They're just based on baroque dance forms.

  • Amazing. Probably one of the most flawless version i've ever heard

  • brava...the passion that swells from those strings is astounding...it is amazing; the impact of music...

  • I always saw the Sarabonde as more of a song than a dance, but that's my interpretation. Well played though.

  • Is this piece difficult to play? It's one of my favorite Bachs. Thanks for letting me see it performed.

  • your the best!!
