Since the founding of JDRF in 1970, the organization's largest and most successful fundraising program, the Walk to Cure Diabetes, has raised over 90 million dollars to go towards type 1 diabetes research.

The CEO makes $531,040, which actually isn't that much considering the large scale of the Foundation and what the equivalent would be for corporation or LLC of that size.

shut up, i have been living with type 1 diabetes for 13 years and they have come a long way, now with the contnious blucose montering it has become easier than ever before to live diabetes.

You jerks need to stop badmouthing this foundation. Part of the reason is to raise AWARENESS of Type one diabetes! Even though I hate Nick Jonas, I still appreciate that his having the disease can raise AWARENESS. And, its a lot of fun! I went with my best friend last year (she is the one that has diabetes) and its A LOT OF FUN! I know I'm going again this year!!!!!!

I can see that it's going to take a few years of hoping for nothing to open your eyes. The JDRF has been telling Mary Tyler Moore that they are close to a cure for 40 years and it hasn't happened yet because that isn't what JDRF is about. That is REALITY. 40 years is a lifetime to many type 1 diabetics.

You sound like your everyday cocky person who thinks honestly in their head that what they think is right, and everyone else is wrong. Open your mind instead of your mouth....no seriously....try it
