  • What a great dog. But being owned by 9 Standards, all but 1 are rescues, I was waiting until he or she used her paw. They are very, very intelligent dogs and I could the thinking going on !

  • I have had Fendi from 8 weeks old.Fendi is a Guide Dog Puppy in Training for the Foundation of the Blind. She is now 15 months old and will be leaving me for good on 8th Jan 09 to complete her training and hopefully be matched with a blind person.I am making the most of my last 2 weeks :)

  • What a noble thing you are doing. Do you have other Standards of your own ? Good luck on your farewell day.

  • Thank you. No as yet I do not have my own Std Poodle. I am hoping to raise another poodle guide dog, but if that does not happen maybe I would get my own Std. I'd love to have a go at agility.

  • G'day. Ella is my grand daughter,I am training the poodle in her first stage of training as a Guide Dog for the blind. Poodles are very intelligent, they need a lot of time and energy invested in them to get the best out of them. A calm peaceful environment is best. They love being included in the family. Respect the intelligence, grown and learn together, be patient and be very loving. Praise, praise, praise. Good luck and most of all ENJOY. :)

  • New Zealand :) :) :)

  • I love your videos. I have two toy poodles and would love to have a standard. Your daughter is beautiful and I love how gentle the dog was with her in this video.

  • @fendifoofoo yeaa bro :)

  • I miss my dog even more, whom got put to sleep for good on July 14th, 2011 due to spine cancer. Had him since 2nd grade. My family and I just got a new standard. It's only been a week, and we've had to return her to the breeder/veternarian for tests for any other additional diseases. She apparently has megaesophogus. Mother just told me we're probably not getting her back...

  • GREAT breed, BUT--years ago, we had a "great" dog, that allowed kids to play, fall on him, whatever, he didn't care. But he got a little older, a little more sore (like people) and a kid fell on him (had happened a thousand times before) and he put that kid in the hospital. Point is, kids have strong hands, they can clamp, and yank and in a minute you can be sorry you allowed it. I know, great dog, great breed, but.............just my opinion

  • Great video!

  • haha. i like how this video cut as soon as she went to put her hand in her mouth. "ah-!".

  • I miss my standard poodle, Amy, so horribly. She was amazing with my grandchild, too. ;(

  • is it bad that i named my maltipoo after my grandmas dead poodle?

  • Hahahahaha, everything goes in the mouth!!!
