although all the teacher gives physical punishment in korea, not all of them r same. One of my teacher in elementart school used to hit students alot, but kids still seem to like that teacher no matter how much she hit them. It was because we knew that she was doing what was right for us and never hit anyone without reason,so i really don't think physical punishment is a bad idea.
