Kamov Ka-50 Black Shark

The Kamov Ka-50 Black Shark (NATO reporting name: "Hokum A") is a single-seat Russian attack helicopter with the distinctive coaxial rotor system of the Kamov design bureau. It was designed in the 1980s and adopted for service in the Russian army in 1995. The Ka-50 is unique as an attack helicopter, in that it is the world's first and only single seat attack helicopter, the first coaxial attack helicopter, and the first attack helicopter with zero-zero ejection seat.(www.wikipedia.org)

@111111guru KA50N has radar the radar capability is top secret, and AH64 is any kind of catagorie behind KA50.speed,maneuvrability,armo­ur,weapon power,fire control systeme, ejection seats,KA50 is so easy to fly it dont need 2nd pilot.The 2A42 is high precision about 2km more range than M230 chaingun of AH64.

The heat shielded exhausts are not worthy against apaches as apaches use state of the art radar or laser guided missiles and the ah 64d version has a fire control radar to prioritise the targets according to the levels of threats posed by those targets.some thing that the black shark doesn't have.this is like bringing a knife to a gunfight

Th ka50 needs this ultra high performance to use its gun effectively because the gun cannot be pointed towards the desired target,whereas in the apache th gun points where ever the gunner looks .How cool is this?and apaches could share informations with other apaches,which means that an apache could bust a target seen by another.ah64s are totally digitised and Russians didn't even make a tiny step into the digital battle field using the kamov.

@nick74178ify KA50, max range 4,5km (accuracy 52%) 3km (a: 68-71%) with HMS,KA52 owns 40mm canon 2A7 variant and the 2A42 like BMP/KA50,Mi28 and ground based AA systemes,the 40mm 2A72(M/V/P) variant is capable to shoot 8km maximum range and 5,6km (accurate range about 60-70%).AH64 maximum range is 4km absolutly inaccurate about 20-40%, and 2km accurate range 65-75%) M230 chaingun barrel is just half long as the 2A72 and even 1/3rd of 2A72.

@Talshet wrong the ka-50 canon is accurate at 1.5km same as the apache 30mm gun, The ka-50 gun max range is 4km the apache 30mm gun max range is 4.5km. and ka-52 has no 40mm gun its a 30mm gun

The helicopter looks scary, effective, and ugly. I kind of like the Mi-24 Hind D and the Mi-28 Havoc N better because of their appearance though. The AH-64 D Longbow, AH-1 Cobra, and the Eurocopter all seem great too. The ingeniuity of both the former U.S.S.R and U.S. are amazing. However, both Russia and the United States are severely lacking in certain aspects compared to the rest of the world. I can't pinpoint it but something is missing in both nations that they had before.
