in the video i keepsaying its a 4300kv motor. but no it is a 4900kv motor. with a 3s lipo. and it only in two wheel drive, so it was really hard to get traction. this car did a lot of flips at high speed and kept driving. its pretty tough. I used my Bushnell speedster 3 radar gun to measure its speed.
@55ntrubble (continued) I had to get a metal gear servo, a different receiver, a 50 amp esc, a 2s and 3s lipo, and charger/balancer for the lipos, velcro to hold the battery, esc and power switch in place. i got racing oil (team losi) for the shocks so they would be more stable at higher speed. put ball bearings in the wheels. i've probably spent over 200 bucks on replacing things that break on this cause there's so much speed and power involved (compared to stock)

@55ntrubble the castle creations motor had too much torque and kept getting loose and shredding plastic gear after gear. so i tried this this motor for a lil bit just to see how it would compare. right now i have converted it back to 4wd and put the castle creations 8000kv in it. i took it on the dirt the other day to do donuts and the tires spun so fast on the dirt that the rubber on a wheel shredded. once i get the replacement wheels and aluminum motor mount i'll do a video of its speed. :)

What happened with the castle creations motor and what did you have to change out to run a brushless setup?
