Yup. Do people really seek out music they don't like just to make insulting comments?

As a band veteran, 'noise' music is actually harder to play as a unit than, say, blues-rock (98.99999999% of what one hears on a daily basis).. So big respect due there!

Still just sounds like Arab on Radar with a chick, instead of an annoying bloke constantly wailing about his boner.

Anyway, I guess it's virtuosity in a creative sense; as they are true to themselves. But I don't see much technical skill in a traditional sense.

you make good points, but i have talked to thoses people that do make this music [AIDS Wolf themselves] and they do take it as you said a "misunderstood cry of virtuoity" [nice term by the way] they might say its not but it is. the new music is misunderstood..

and to be clear Iam not in a collEge band but a collAge band..

College Music. So.... Pretentious Art Rock? This isn't difficult. Although I agree with the proposition of creative integrity... this is not difficult in the least. It would be hard to notate it, but the actual skill it takes to play is close to none.

If you were to talk to these people I'm sure they would concur. It's not meant to be taken as some misunderstood cry of virtuosity. This is expression without concern over anything. This is diametrically opposed to nerd rock. See B...TA or KC.

i play collage music in a band called X+X and this stuff is way fucking hard to play ive tried for shits & giggles B4 and its fucking hard to do its not just chance smashings like you think simpleton
