A Myna Magnet trap in action. I'm trying to help thin out the Myna birds in our area which are becomng a real problem. They are pretty much the only birds we see around now. They've all but chased everything else away.

indian maina is a very agressive and smart bird , its gonna take a national campaign to get rid of it , it can outsmart some humans , I hate them !!

It has taken me a while to perfect the trap - if you remember we spoke some time ago:)
anyhow I'm please to tell you that this country is now minus about 20 of those fuckers now:)
and I hope to put 10 times that amount in the years to come...many thanks for the advice back then. I'm now at least sleeping in the mornings with now bloody Asian birds waking me up at 6.30

Did you know on the Global Invasive Species Database, the Myna Bird is listed 3rd! And is the first invertebrate listed. Bastards.
I have found a roosting site about 400 metres from my place which holds 50-100. Time to build more traps I think.
Now if you get 2 friends to do it, and they each get two friends to do etc etc..........pipe dreams......
Anyway, once again, well done.

@Pumpaction06 legal way is by asphyxiation with Carbon Dioxide or by (Cervical dislocation) breaking their necks.
