Fastest XTM MMT and fastest Monster truck to date 76.0mph

Can't we get a nitro Monster MT to go this fast??? Come on, I mean electric is cheating, Larry the Cable Guy!!! Heck put 110 volt Li-Poly battery in there and ya' get 200 mph I reckon'. I bet ya' could'nt steer it though ye' all'!

Nitro's are slow. Part of the reason why the Nitro motor was yanked off this truck.

nitro are fast electrics are no fun and take no skill

Why is electric cheating?
Nitro vehicles are good for some scenarios. Raw power unfortunatily is not one of them.
As long as you have a few littles of fuel then you can have fun longer than with electric

When I put my 34/76 gearing in my Rustler VXL and throttle it to over 75mph. at times it gets airborn due to the rush of wind. I think I might devise a wing for the front and remove the rear wing. I don't want to remove the lid as it protects the inner components. I do plan on mounting a camera on the front wich may help keep the front end on the ground. I have the camera mount made but finding room to hit these speeds with enoughf room to stop with the added weight might be a problem.

That sounds like Larry the Cable guy holding the camera? Camera man blows. He needs to follow the truck as it passes!

Look for another video in the next week. The truck now has been re-geared and running 12S.

New pinions arrived so its time to swap them in and a few new tricks and see what happens. Hope to push the record past 80mph. We'll see.
