Yeah. Despite GS having the better technology (I loved the Disruptor Torpedo a lot), I have to say that the Bora storyline is a lot better on more levels.

Neither, you can choose to go with the mega-corporation Galspan (shown here) or fight alongside the Bora rebels to expel the mega-corporations. It's neither good nor bad, just who you wish to side with.
