i usually make my beats with samples and chops but i had a few folks ask me if i make original synthesized beats, the answer is yes i do but i prefer to make the sample/chopping based tracks, sampling is an art-form within itself but some fail to realize that fact....

I enjoy this work. It's not the best/flyest beat or anything, but the song is balanced and conceptually sound. I'd like to hear a more prominent bass line. The low frequencies have that kind of Gregorian chant choir throughout the whole beat. The lead synth with the fancy modulation and such that cuts in and out every 8 bars or so is really neat. It'd be cool to hear something with that degree of rhythmic complexity happening in the low bass. Good luck with your work and keep it up

This sounds pretty tight but it could use more some 808's and snares. Ableton Live is the shit for making beats. I prefer it to FL Studio although both programs collaborate quite well since you can transfer FL midi files and Gross Beat presets over to Ableton.

How come you don't sample? Just curious cause I lace my beats with samples and synths. Digging is one of the funnest/hardest parts about hip-hop..and it takes away from that computer feel. I get having a techno sound but you wanna switch up your style, don't be a one sound producer.
